DM9000CEP is a cost-effective single-chip 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet controller manufactured by Davicom Semiconductor, integrating complete IEEE 802.3 compliant MAC and PHY transceiver in one compact LQFP package. It features a universal SRAM-style 8/16-bit host bus interface for seamless connection with all mainstream MCUs, MPUs, DSPs and FPGAs, widely adopted for low-to-medium speed embedded network equipment.
👉 It is not industrial wide-temperature DM9000CIEP variant, nor high-end multi-port Ethernet switch chip. It is a mature, simplified single-port Fast Ethernet solution with rich built-in hardware acceleration and low-power modes, perfect for cost-sensitive embedded network terminals without complex external circuit design.
