    This is a dual-channel synchronous direct digital frequency synthesizer (DDS) launched by Analog Devices, integrating two independent DDS cores and 10-bit high-speed DAC inside one chip. The two channels share the same reference clock to achieve inherent high-precision synchronization, widely used for RF signal generation, quadrature signal output and agile frequency source development.

    The system main clock rate reaches 500 MSPS, equipped with 32-bit frequency tuning word, the minimum frequency resolution can reach 0.12Hz, supporting ultra-fine frequency adjustment and fast frequency hopping switching. Each channel is independently programmable in frequency, phase and amplitude: 14-bit phase adjustment resolution, 10-bit amplitude scaling control, which can compensate amplitude and phase mismatch caused by peripheral filter circuits and PCB wiring differences between two channels.

    Built-in programmable PLL frequency multiplier, the reference clock can be multiplied by 4~20 times flexibly, reducing the frequency requirement of external crystal oscillator. It supports multiple modulation modes including FSK, PSK, ASK, and linear frequency sweep, phase sweep and amplitude sweep functions, which is very suitable for chirp signal generation required by ranging radarAnalog Dev….

    Dual power supply design: DDS core adopts 1.8V power supply, digital IO interface supports 3.3V voltage level, perfectly compatible with mainstream FPGA and MCU control systems. Serial communication interface is compatible with SPI, supports multi-bit parallel transmission to improve register configuration speed, maximum throughput up to 800Mbps. Full-scale output current of each DAC channel is 1.25mA, with excellent spurious free dynamic range performance to guarantee clean RF output spectrum.

    Multiple chips can be cascaded and synchronized through dedicated synchronous pins to expand multi-channel phase-coherent signal output system. It has built-in hardware and software power-down mode to cut down idle power consumption.

The bottom large-area metal heat dissipation pad effectively dissipates heat generated during continuous high-frequency operation and stabilizes internal oscillation performance.
