ADUM6202ARWZ-RL

This is a two-channel digital isolator launched by Analog Devices, equipped with integrated isoPower isolated DC-DC power supply module based on iCoupler magnetic coupling technology, which can complete both digital signal isolation and isolated power output at the same time without additional discrete isolated power chips.

ADUM6202 represents the core model of dual-channel isolator with built-in isolated power supply. ARWZ stands for wide-body 16-pin SOIC surface mount industrial grade packaging. RL refers to standard tape-and-reel packaging suitable for automated SMT mass production mounting.

The chip contains two unidirectional signal isolation channels, supporting maximum 25Mbps signal transmission rate, typical signal propagation delay is controlled within 100ns, and pulse width distortion is extremely low to guarantee stable high-speed digital communication.

The isolation withstand voltage between primary side and secondary side reaches 5000Vrms, with common-mode transient immunity exceeding 25kV/μs, which can effectively suppress ground loop potential difference and high-frequency surge interference in industrial harsh electromagnetic environments.

Built-in isolated DC-DC converter can output stable 3.3V or 5V isolated voltage, with maximum output power up to 400mW, directly supplying power to rear-end transceivers, sensors and small peripheral circuits. The input working voltage range covers 3V to 5.5V, compatible with mainstream 3.3V and 5V embedded system power rails.

The internal circuit is equipped with comprehensive anti-interference and protection structure, with stable signal transmission performance under continuous temperature fluctuation.

It adopts 16-pin wide SOIC patch packaging, the widened body design brings 7.6mm creepage distance, which meets international safety insulation standards. The overall size is compact and occupies little PCB layout space. It belongs to MSL3 moisture sensitive device, reflow soldering operation must be completed within 168 hours after opening the original vacuum packaging. Standard reel feeding packaging is adopted to match fully automatic placement equipment on production lines.

Continuous stable operating temperature range is -40℃ ~ +105℃, adapting to factory workshop equipment, outdoor monitoring terminals and vehicle-mounted electronic equipment with severe temperature changes. The whole product is manufactured with lead-free process and complies with universal international environmental restriction specifications. Highly integrated design greatly reduces the number of peripheral components and the difficulty of isolated circuit layout.
