    AD7799 is a 3-channel 24-bit low-noise sigma-delta ADC integrated with on-chip instrumentation amplifier from Analog Devices. BRUZ refers to 16-lead TSSOP surface mount package, shipped in tube packaging for prototype verification, circuit debugging and small-batch instrument assembly.

    This fully integrated precision analog front-end converter is specially optimized for millivolt-level weak signals output from bridge sensors, thermal resistors and strain gauges. It adopts sigma-delta conversion architecture to deliver true 24-bit no-missing-code resolution with ultra-low noise floor, featuring programmable gain selections ranging from 1 to 128 to adapt to various tiny input amplitude ranges.

    Three differential analog input channels are integrated internally, which can be flexibly configured for multi-point signal collection without external analog multiplexers. The on-chip programmable digital filter achieves simultaneous rejection of 50Hz and 60Hz power frequency interference, effectively suppressing industrial power grid noise in harsh field environments. Conversion update rate is adjustable from 4.17Hz up to 470Hz to balance measurement precision and response speed.

    The device operates on single supply voltage of 2.7V to 5.25V, compatible with common 3.3V and 5V embedded power rails. Typical operating current is only 380μA, while deep power-down mode consumes less than 1μA quiescent current, perfectly fitting battery-powered wireless monitoring terminals and portable testing devices. Built-in modules include internal clock oscillator, precision bandgap reference, reference voltage detection circuit, low-side power switch and burnout current source for sensor fault diagnosis. Standard SPI serial interface is adopted for data reading and register configuration, easy to connect with mainstream MCUs and FPGAs.

    Packaged in compact 16-pin TSSOP plastic surface mount housing with small overall dimension, which greatly saves PCB layout space for miniaturized sensor modules. Moisture Sensitivity Level is MSL3; all reflow soldering operations must be completed within 168 hours after the original vacuum package is opened. Tube delivery mode is adopted to facilitate manual breadboard testing and small-volume trial production assembly.
