    FT4232HL-Reel is a 5th-generation quad-channel high-speed USB interface IC manufactured by FTDI Chip, suffix -Reel stands for tape-and-reel bulk packaging for automated SMT production. It integrates 4 independent UART ports plus two built-in MPSSE multi-protocol synchronous serial engines, supporting flexible mixed serial mode configuration for industrial multi-channel communication and debug tools.
    👉 It differs from single-channel FT232RL and dual-channel FT2232HL. FT4232HL provides four fully independent serial channels with 480Mbps USB2.0 high-speed bandwidth, higher maximum baud rate and richer MPSSE synchronous protocol functions, ideal for multi-port serial converters, multi-target JTAG debuggers and multi-sensor data acquisition equipment.
