Key Functional Features
Multi-mode flexible channel configuration
Each channel can be set as high-side driver, low-side driver; supports building up to two independent H-bridge circuits for DC motor forward/reverse control. It can implement peak-and-hold drive mode for two electromagnetic loads such as fuel injectors and solenoid valves. All channels support PWM continuous modulation output. Six channels are designated for safety-critical vehicle loads, with one exclusive channel equipped with an independent enable pin for high-reliability safety actuators.
Comprehensive circuit protection mechanism
Built-in short-circuit protection, overcurrent shutdown protection to prevent damage to external power MOSFETs. Each channel can detect open load, short to battery and short to ground faults. Rising and falling slew rates of gate signals are adjustable to suppress switching noise and reduce electromagnetic interference. Dual redundant hardware disable pins cut off all outputs instantly to meet functional safety requirements.
Digital control and diagnosis
Chip configuration and fault status reading are realized via 32-bit SPI communication interface. Embedded silent diagnostic pulse function, which periodically detects channel fault status under static output without disturbing normal load operation. Independent dead time setting for each H-bridge prevents upper and lower tube simultaneous conduction shoot-through risk. Programmable gate charging and discharging current adapts to different specifications of external MOSFETs.
Reliability design for harsh vehicle environment
All pins have high voltage withstand capability against automotive load dump and surge voltage. The exposed pad structure optimizes heat dissipation during long-time continuous driving. Halogen-free molding materials comply with RoHS automotive environmental standards.
